As of July 1st, 2024, the Larnaca Water Board (LWB) and the Larnaca Sewerage and Drainage Board (LSDB) have successfully unified under the newly established District Local Government Organisation of Larnaca (DLGOL).
Thanks to the adaptability of EDAMS Software, the transition was seamless. From day one, the new organisation operated as a unified entity, with fully integrated databases and operational systems. This achievement highlights the power of digital transformation in public service.
DLGOL now provides services to approximately 90,000 households across the Larnaca district. This growth reflects the successful integration of 16 surrounding villages, with additional communities expected to join in the near future. The adaptability and scalability of EDAMS Software were instrumental in supporting this expansion, enabling DLGOL to lead the way in Cyprus as the first organisation to achieve such rapid development—well ahead of the 2029 national deadline for unifying water utilities under district-level governance.
